INTERVIEW WITH IMMA #Lovewins

About me?

I'm from the south, Alabama to be exact. I've spent some of my life as dancer and the remaining bit I'm figuring out through performance art and imagery.

What inspires you?

I tend to be interested in things that show a glimmer of hope without avoiding reality. I'm inspired by possibility.faith and desire. I'm inspired by disaster and the aftermath of failure. At the moment i am focused on creating real life experiences and healing myself through therapy and such. The art will come when it's ready: when it has too. And I'll be here to facilitate it when it does appear in my life again. I feel it's my only purpose really.

You shot for Noctis with Haris for the Gender Issue, being a visual artist, how important is it for you that your own visuals are respected within the team you work with?

Its extremely important to work with people that understand you, and not just objects that they can just use to compile together in order to a paint a fuzzy image of you. I love working with people when something is brought to the table, force me to reimagine myself. Allowing me to question aspects of my own being.
