Bruce Gilden
Crash Magazine
Crash Magazine has been one of Bruce's most consistent and creatively open publishing relationships in recent years. The Paris-based cultural title, known for giving genuine authorial freedom to the photographers it works with, has published Bruce across multiple issues and
locations: New York, Brooklyn, the East Village, Brighton Beach, Mexico. In Issue 95, he was handed a 24-page carte blanche and shot it in Brooklyn. Across subsequent issues he has continued to work with editor-in-chief Armelle Leturcq, bringing his American obsessions into
a publication that knows exactly how to hold them. It is a partnership built on mutual respect for what photography can do when no one gets in the way.
