Bruce Gilden

Two icons, one address. For the launch of Cutler and Gross's Gothic Realism collection with The Great Frog, the brand brought Bruce and Debbie Harry together at New York's Chelsea Hotel, a building that has housed more cultural history than most cities. Shot in black and white, the images carry his signature: subjects pressed close to the frame, flash reflected in the lenses, nothing hidden. Harry, a longtime friend of the brand, wore pieces from the handcrafted collection including the oversized Prometheus and Medusa frames. The result is less a campaign and more a document. Two legends of New York in the only place that made sense.
