Bruce Gilden

Alessandro Michele brought Bruce to Rome to shoot the Gucci Pre-Fall 2020 look book on the streets of the city, casting fashion activist Bethann Hardison and Italian actress Benedetta Barzini alongside a crew of models. Bruce shot both the womenswear and menswear collections on location, finding characters in the city the same way he finds them anywhere. The shoot later became the cover story of Purple Magazine's Issue 34, the LOVE issue, and was compiled into a limited-edition art book, Beaten & Blown by the Wind.
